Medicare Specialist

In this fully remote role, you will guide individuals through the details of Medicare, assisting them in finding the right coverage to support a healthy retirement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Educate clients on Medicare parts, supplemental plans and important enrollment periods
  • Evaluate individual health care needs and match them with the most fitting insurance products
  • Process enrollment applications accurately and promptly
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicare rules, regulations and annual plan changes
  • Provide excellent ongoing support to answer client questions and resolve coverage issues
  • Work closely with our financial advisors to ensure health care planning aligns with the client’s overall retirement strategy

Qualifications

  • Active health insurance license
  • Deep understanding of Medicare, Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement plans
  • Proven experience in insurance sales, customer service or health care planning
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex insurance details simply and clearly
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a virtual environment
