Financial Advisor
In this role, you will act as a true financial advocate, building meaningful relationships and creating custom strategies that empower individuals to achieve their long-term financial goals. This role is embedded within a network of credit union branch locations, where you’ll have access to consistent warm introductions from branch staff, established branch training resources and a steady flow of credit union members who are actively seeking financial guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand their unique financial goals, personal values and retirement needs
- Develop customized financial strategies encompassing income planning, wealth growth and portfolio management
- Review client portfolios regularly to ensure strategies align with their changing life circumstances
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients in the Sarasota and Suncoast regions
- Collaborate closely with our support team to ensure each client receives exceptional, personalized service
Qualifications
- Minimum three years of experience in financial advisory, wealth management or a client-facing financial services role — we will consider motivated, high-character candidates whose track record speaks for itself
- Series 7 required
- Series 65 or 66 preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Life and health insurance license preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or a related field preferred
- Strong communication and listening skills with a genuine passion for helping people
- Self-motivated, coachable and driven to build a long-term practice
